DO YOUR basic serviceS INCLUDE ALCOHOL?
No, our basic bar service does not include the price of liquor. The hourly rate includes equipment, liability insurance, and the best bartenders around.
HOW DO WE SELECT THE LIQUOR?
We offer a quick selection of basic, mid-range, premium, and local liquor packages. If you would like something specific that is not included in the pre-selected packages, we are more than happy to add that to your bar!
CAN I BRING MY OWN ALCOHOL?
Yes! However, there are a few things to note if this is the case. You must purchase all alcohol in the State of Utah and adhere to any and all local guidelines and laws. In addition, TBP is not responsible for the quantity of alcohol that you provide. If you run out during your event, TBP accepts no liability or responsibility for this.
PLANS CHANGED, CAN I ADJUST DETAILS?
Absolutely! We can make changes to your event contract up to 14 business days prior to the event date.
WHAT DO YOU REQUIRE TO BOOK?
We require a signed contract and a $100 retainer. Once this is complete, your date is fully booked and in our calendars! (Your retainer payment goes toward your final balance.)
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN YOUR Turnkey PACKAGES?
All of our packages include all bar tools needed to perfect your service, full liability insurance, management of alcohol, an alcohol selection guide, and a basic bar setup. And all spirits, mixers, disposable cups, napkins, and garnishments.
HOW DOES GRATUITY WORK?
Bartenders reserve the right to have a tip jar out on all bars during service. If you do not want tip jars present, we require a gratuity of $100 per bartender to be added to your bill. Our bartenders work hard, and gratuity is how we show our appreciation!
WILL YOU CUT SOMEONE OFF?
TBP follows all of the rules and regulations stipulated by the Utah Department of Alcoholic Beverage Services, and we enforce them. We monitor guests for alcohol or intoxication and reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
Alcohol Service Policy (No Self-Service)
The Bar Project maintains a strict No Self-Service Alcohol Policy. For the safety of all guests and to remain compliant with venue requirements and Utah alcohol laws, all alcoholic beverages must be prepared and served exclusively by The Bar Project bartenders.
Neither the Client nor any guest may pour, serve, distribute, or consume alcohol from behind the bar or any designated bartender service area. Alcohol may not be self-served at any time during the event.
In addition, parking lot drinking or consumption of alcoholic beverages outside of the approved event area is strictly prohibited. Such activity may violate Utah law and venue policies and may be considered a Class A misdemeanor.
If self-service or other prohibited alcohol service is observed, The Bar Project staff will issue one verbal warning to the Client or responsible party. If the violation continues after the initial warning, The Bar Project reserves the right to immediately discontinue all bar services for the remainder of the event. In such circumstances, the Client remains fully responsible for payment of the entire contracted invoice, and no refunds or credits will be issued.
The Client is responsible for informing all guests of this policy and agrees to cooperate with The Bar Project staff in maintaining compliance with all applicable laws and venue regulations.
